At GiTS, we strive to provide a fair and transparent refund policy for our users. Please read the following terms carefully as they govern your purchase of tickets through our platform.
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise specified.
In the event of a cancellation of an event, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Refunds will not include any additional fees such as processing or handling charges.
To request a refund, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to the event date.
Requests can be submitted via the platform on the orders section of your profile or alternatively, send an email to refunds@gits.co.za. Please include your order number and the reason for the refund request.
Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
Event Cancellation : If an event is canceled, you will receive a full refund.
Postponement : If an event is rescheduled, tickets will automatically be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund.
Medical Emergencies : In case of a medical emergency that prevents attendance, refunds may be issued upon receipt of appropriate documentation (e.g., a doctor’s note).
Refund requests will be processed within 3 to 5 business days after receipt.
Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
The following situations do not qualify for refunds:
If you fail to attend the event without prior notice.
If you cancel your ticket less than 24 hours before the event.
If you do not comply with the conditions outlined in this policy.
We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
